SIXENSE attended the BTS (British Tunnelling Society) conference in Westminster on the 8th and 9th of October, exhibiting and presenting a range of techniques that are being used on our tunnelling projects in the UK and around the world.
SIXENSE Group’s Blanca Payas Puigarnau presented “Advanced InSAR on Urban Tunnelling Projects”, demonstrating how we have deployed our satellite monitoring solution for major infrastructure projects as well as the additional advantages that can be realised when this technique is combined with more traditional monitoring as part of a projects Instrumentation and Monitoring plan.
This included case-studies on the latest advanced analytics tools integrated in our new generation software, Beyond Monitoring, turning InSAR monitoring data into risk management information.
The conference was also a great opportunity to network with other industry players, including Bruno PAUL-DAUPHIN from EXEGY, who gave a fascinating presentation on the development and use of ultra-low carbon concrete, playing an important part in the Vinci Group environmental ambition to use 90% low carbon concrete by 2030.
